Senior Web Designer / Web Developer opening available now. Gatman Services is looking for an experienced web designer / web developer. Full time position available Fort Lauderdale.

This is a small, casual, and expanding office environment with an emphasis on customer care and looking to grow just slightly larger. Job Description: Designer / Developer to participate in site development and administration to existing and new web site projects, inclusive of customer care / web hosting support. Many projects involve "high-end" products and services. A great opportunity for an experienced designer/developer that wishes to have unlimited challenges. We foster your self-improvement.
Candidate must be "hands-on" proficiency with HTML / CSS and at a minimum, a working familiarity with Flash (CS3- CS4) to create & assist web development, web site administration, and create quality original web design. Extra preferences given to additional skill sets. Web Site Applications experience a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Gatman Services has and immediate need for an experienced web developer or web designer with strong HTML/DHTML/CSS foundation and experience in the LAMP environment. This is a Senior Designer/Developer Position.
Candidate must have a clear sense of esthetic design, site architecture and navigation UI and be prepared to work within and upon web based applications.
Our projects are diverse in design and features (commerce, portal, interactive brochure-ware, CMS, audio/video streaming, Flash-driven, dynamic etc.).
We are accepting inquires from those with strong backgrounds with emphasis in either design or site coding development, but right candidate must have experience and familiarity with results-oriented project goals and objectives.
All Candidates Must Show Examples Of Work And Exhibit Demonstratable Coding Skills.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3- 5 web design experience.
- Hands-on HTML, DHTML, and CSS coding proficiency
- Flash Design Experience - Intermediate to Expert
- Flash Action Script (AS2 - AS3) - Intermediate
- Keen eye for design and graphics proficiency in Adobe suite of applications
- Experience working within dynamically/ application driven web projects (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal preferred) – Min 3 years
- Experience working within PHP/MySQL framework (LAMP environment) - Min 3 years.
- Clear sense of project management, time, goals and objectives
DESIRABLE
- Familiarity with "high-end" products and services. Luxury goods, services and people.
- Advanced Scripting - Javascript, DHTML, AJAX familiarity, Shell, and familiarity with other languages and environments.
- Advanced graphics design orientation
- Php / MySQL programming and site management proficiency
- Core-coding experience with open-source applications including Joomla / Drupal.
